Flora
To date, 191 species of plant have been recorded at Kintbury Eco Centre, 54 of which are considered Ancient Woodland Indicator Plants.
Below is a listing of plants found in Britain and Ireland:
- The taxonomic order is taken from New Flora of the British Isles, 4th edition (Stace, 2019), with any restricted subset for Berkshire taken from Plant Atlas 2020: Mapping Changes in the Distribution of the British and Irish Flora (Stroh, Walker, Humphrey, Pescott & Burkmar, 2023).
- The vernacular names of Ancient Woodland Indicator Plants have a coloured background and this status has been derived, for the south of England, from The Wild Flower Key, 2nd edition (Rose & O'Reilly, 2006).
- The symbol will open up a Google search for this species in a separate tab.
